Via Ferrata Slovak Paradise with Instructor - What Will You Experience?

Via Ferrata HZS Kyseľ is located in the protected area of the Slovak Paradise National Park. It was opened in 2016 and is a ONE-WAY route that can only be traversed upstream, directly in the streambed!

During the route, you will discover 5 waterfalls (including Barricade, Chapel, and Giant Falls). The start leads through the streambed over fallen logs. The most challenging section is a steep climb at the Giant Falls, which ends with a footbridge.

The course includes:

• Group Via Ferrata course (for 1 or 2 people), which will provide you with the theoretical and practical parts, including demonstrations of techniques and belaying.
• Rental of complete Via Ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, energy absorber, chest harness, carabiners).
• Instructor: Certified mountaineering instructor SHS JAMES – rock climbing and Via Ferrata, with many years of experience
• Photo and video documentation from the Workshops & Courses (download link within 5 days).
• Duration: 6- 8 hrs (duration depends on the performance and experience of the participants and the current conditions on the Via Ferrata)

The course is suitable for complete beginners with average fitness (able to handle a 4-hour hike). The difficulty of the Via Ferrata is A – C. The group consists of 6 to 8 people + instructor.

About the instructors - We are certified rock climbing and mountaineering instructors with many years of experience working with adults, youth, and children. We organise climbing clubs, Via Ferrata courses, school trips, Team Building, and individual climbing lessons on rocks, mountains or indoor climbing walls. More than 7,000 happy customers have already participated in our Via Ferrata courses.

ATTENTION:

• Insurance is not included in the voucher price.
• For your safety, we recommend that you take out insurance - insurance to cover the costs of any mountain rescue intervention (regular premium approx. €1 - €4 / day / person).
• The voucher price does not include admission to the Slovak Paradise (3€ / person) and admission to the Kyseľ Via Ferrata (5€ / person).

Important information about Via Ferrata Slovak Paradise with Instructor:

	Sezóna/Počasie	The experience is available MONDAY to SUNDAY from 15/06 to 31/10/2027 (inclusive) subject to availability. In the event of adverse weather, it is up to the provider to decide and evaluate whether to move the reservation to a new date.
	Clothing	You need to bring sportswear and sports shoes (not sneakers). IIt is also a good idea to bring a light waterproof jacket and a small backpack for water and small snacks (e.g. a small running bag up to 10 litres).
	Podmienky	The course is open to people from 8 years of age with the consent and accompaniment of a legal guardian (written consent from a legal guardian is required for those under 18, and the service provider must be informed of the participation of a minor in advance). The experience takes place on pre-determined dates according to the provider's available capacity. Booking a date outside of the provided terms is possible provided there are at least 4 people and an agreement is reached with the provider. The final duration of the experience depends on the specific Via Ferrata, as well as the performance and experience of the participants and other climbers in the area. Final confirmation of the date is provided at least 2 days (48 hours) before the event, depending on the weather and current conditions. Cancellation policy: 0% cancellation fee if cancelled up to 24 hours before the experience, 100% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 24 hours before the experience.
