Discover scuba diving - What Will You Experience?

You will receive introductory theoretical preparation from experienced instructors and get acquainted with the diving equipment. You will learn how to put it on and how it works. The dive itself takes place in a lake or pool area where your safety is guaranteed. There you will practically try out the basic activities of a diver, buoyancy, breathing techniques, and pressure equalization.

Discover scuba diving in the East - What Will You Experience?

Pool Dive Includes:

  • Short theoretical introduction
  • the dive itself in the pool
  • rental of necessary equipment and gear
  • services of a certified diving instructor

Open water dive includes:

  • Short theoretical introduction
  • the dive itself in the Domaša, Zemplínska Šírava, or Ružín reservoirs (others by arrangement)
  • rental of necessary equipment and gear
  • services of a certified diving instructor

Open water dive includes:

  • the dive itself in Čiernovodský Lake (Goulash)

Important information about the test dive:

PočasieSezóna/PočasieDiscover scuba diving in open water can be completed from June to September. In the pool all year round. Diving is not dependent on the weather.
OblečenieClothingWe recommend bringing swimwear and a towel. All diving equipment will be loaned to you.
PodmienkyPodmienkyThe minimum age for completing a test dive in Bratislava is 15 years old, in the East it is 8 years old, and basic swimming experience is required. Rezerváciu je vhodné zrealizovať minimálne týždeň vopred. The experience can be booked at any time during the season.

Diving is generally suitable for people who are less physically fit or overweight. Good health, fitness and basic confidence in the water are especially important.

Diving for the test was a real challenge for me. It was manageable, with the help of an instructor, and in the end it was an unforgettable experience. It's really hard to breathe underwater through a device for the first time, it's not very logical, and losing orientation (the dive was in a water tank, slightly murky water) can be a challenge. I recommend it at least for active snorkelers, I underestimated that a bit... :-)
