Discover scuba diving - What Will You Experience?

Intro Dive, DSD-Discover Scuba Dive, or trial dive are the most common terms for a quick and easy introduction to the world of diving. Although it is not a certified diving course, you will learn everything you need to become a diver.

Diving school in Eastern Slovakia - Real Divers will safely guide you through the world of silence. You just need to be at least 8 years old. No prior experience is necessary.

Discover scuba diving in the East - What Will You Experience?

Pool Dive Includes:

  • Short theoretical introduction
  • the dive itself in the pool
  • rental of necessary equipment and gear
  • services of a certified diving instructor

Open water dive includes:

  • Short theoretical introduction
  • the dive itself in the Domaša, Zemplínska Šírava, or Ružín reservoirs (others by arrangement)
  • rental of necessary equipment and gear
  • services of a certified diving instructor

Important information about the test dive:

PočasieSezóna/PočasieDiscover scuba diving in open water can be completed from June to September. In the pool all year round. Diving is not dependent on the weather.
OblečenieClothingWe recommend bringing swimwear and a towel. All diving equipment will be loaned to you.
PodmienkyPodmienkyThe minimum age for a trial dive is 8 years, and basic swimming skills are required. Rezerváciu je vhodné zrealizovať minimálne týždeň vopred. The experience can be booked at any time during the season. More information here.

Diving is generally suitable for people who are less physically fit or overweight. Good health, fitness and basic confidence in the water are especially important.

Diving for the test was a real challenge for me. It was manageable, with the help of an instructor, and in the end it was an unforgettable experience. It's really hard to breathe underwater through a device for the first time, it's not very logical, and losing orientation (the dive was in a water tank, slightly murky water) can be a challenge. I recommend it at least for active snorkelers, I underestimated that a bit... :-)
