Scuba Diving Course in Bratislava - What to Expect?

How does the diving school work?

The diving course is led by a team of instructors from DiveINN, one of the oldest and largest diving schools in Slovakia. We have been on the market for over 20 years and have successfully trained over 5,500 divers of all levels. Annually, over 200 students go through our courses. We are a 5-star PADI diving center with our own facilities at Guláška in Senec.

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the largest diving organization in the world and the qualification obtained is lifelong and valid worldwide. Our courses are also accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic and meet the standards STN EN 14153 and 14413.

1. Self-study
   Before the course starts, we will provide you with a study manual and video presentations. You will learn the theory at your own pace so that you can effectively apply it in practice.

2. Theoretical part
   Teaching takes place from Monday to Thursday after 17:00. During four two-hour lessons, you will go through key topics with the instructor, answer questions, and reinforce your theoretical knowledge.

3. Pool Dives
   The training takes place in two pool sessions:

• Tuesday at 19:00 in the pool of Hotel Barónka**** in Bratislava

• Thursday at 17:00 at our own 5* PADI DiveINN resort at Guláška in Senec
  Pool training is focused on practicing basic skills in a safe environment under the supervision of experienced instructors.

4. Open Water Dives
   The final phase of the course takes place at our exclusive diving resort at Guláška in Senec. You will complete at least 4 dives, during which you will perfect the techniques for safe and independent diving in real conditions. End of the course

The course does not end according to the schedule, but only when you feel ready. Some people need a week, others need more time. All additional theory sessions and dives are free of charge. The goal is for you to feel safe underwater and ready for further diving adventures.

Scuba Diving Course in Košeca (Ilava) - What Will You Experience?

You will get a PADI diving certification. If you've always wanted to learn to dive, discover new adventures, or simply see the amazing world underwater, this is the place to start.
PADI Open Water Diver is the world's most popular diving course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous lifestyle of diving. The Open Water Diver course consists of three parts: development of theoretical knowledge, 5 lessons in the pool and 4 dives in open water.
Our PADI instructor will first go over the theoretical basics of diving with you so that you properly understand the physical laws of diving, the rules of safe diving, and the technical details of diving equipment. You will read the book and watch the PADI video at your chosen pace. At the end, a final test is taken. This is followed by training in basic techniques and actions in the pool. If you are already able to handle them without any problems, then it's time for your dream entry into the underwater world in the form of four open water dives under the supervision of an instructor. Upon successful completion of the course, we will issue you a temporary diver's card, and PADI will send your original card to your home address within a certain period. For training, you need to have your own wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins. We will gladly advise you on selection and purchase.

How does the diving school work?

THE PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PHASES:

• Theoretical development of knowledge.
• Training dives in the pool, where you will learn the basic skills necessary for diving.
• Four open water dives where you will apply the skills learned in the pool.

COURSE ITINERARY:
Day 1: Introduction to the course, pool training dives, theoretical part (5-6 hours)
Day 2: Two open water dives and theoretical part. (5-6 hours)
Day 3: Two open water dives, theoretical part and final test. (5-6 hours)

The OWD course begins with pool dives in Košeca, and open water dives continue by agreement in Slovakia or Poland.

Important information about the diving course:

	Sezóna/Počasie	You can take the diving school from April to September. The activity is not weather-dependent.
	Clothing	We recommend swimwear, complete equipment will be provided to you.
	Podmienky	The minimum age to complete the course is 15 years and "standard" snorkeling experience – swimming with fins (you must be able to swim at least 300m without a time limit). Rezerváciu je vhodné zrealizovať minimálne týždeň vopred. The course takes place on pre-determined dates.
