Pottery wheel experience - What Will You Experience?

Being a creator, shaping the material and infusing it with your energy is an indescribable surge of emotions and fulfillment. Come get your hands dirty and clear your head.

In 150 minutes (2.5 hours), you will go through a cross-section of ceramic production. To start, you will learn some information about materials like engobe and glaze. You will see how the clay is prepared (you will have 3000 g available) and how it is recycled. Next, the most important part – pottery wheel throwing, where with the help of the instructor and their instruction, you will create your own product, a mug or a bowl. 1 person works at one wheel. The workshop concludes with cleaning the workspace.

What you get: The instructor will then finish and fire your product. You get one product from the workshop for free; for others, they will gladly offer firing service if you are interested. During your relaxation, you will be offered a small refreshment, and your time in the workshop will be documented (photos and videos), which will be sent to you.

The joy of your own product will remind you of your time at the wheel. Time when you dedicated yourself to relaxation and rest, time for yourself, or for the whole family... Time you won't forget.

Workshop includes:

• Introduction and clay preparation; a demonstration of work on the pottery wheel.
• Work on the pottery wheel — max. 1 person works at one wheel.
• Instruction at the pottery wheel.
• Cleaning the wheel and workspace; conclusion.
• 3000 g of clay.
• Option to buy more clay if needed: 1 kg of clay — €1.70.
• Documenting your time in the workshop (photos and videos), which will be sent to you after the workshop (WhatsApp, Messenger).
• 1 product free; for other products, if interested, they will gladly offer you firing service - €28.00/kg.
• You will be offered a small refreshment.
• Finishing the product from the workshop takes 6–8 weeks.
• Your product will be sent to you by courier or post by agreement (paid service); or you can pick it up for free at the studio by arrangement.
