Children's Via Ferrata Zvonička Nová Baňa

Children's via ferrata Zvonička Nová Baňa - what will you experience?

The children's via ferrata area Zvonička in Nová Bána is a great place for active families! It is located right next to the Zvonička cafeteria and was designed to teach children motor skills, overcoming fear of heights, and movement in rocky terrain in a playful way .

There are 285 meters of adventure trails built on small rocks, which offer great fun: rope bridges, nets, climbing, balancing on logs and even falcon nests! The paths are divided into three sectors: "Guitar", "Falcon's Nest" and "Zvonička".

The course includes:

• Group children's via ferrata course in the field (5 to 7 children + instructor).
• A theoretical and practical part with demonstrations of belaying techniques, specially tailored for children.
• Instructor: Certified mountaineering instructor SHS JAMES.
• Full rental of children's via ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, energy absorber, optional full-body children's harness, etc.).
• PHOTO and VIDEO from the course.
• Bonus programme with rope (abseiling, tying knots).

Via ferratas have a difficulty level of A – B/C. The course is suitable for children aged 6 to 10who can concentrate and respect the instructor. If parents are directly next to the child and distracting them, it is recommended to wait at the buffet. Older children (over 12 years) are already recommended Via Ferrata for adults (e.g. Rock garden).

About the instructors - We are certified rock climbing and mountaineering instructors with many years of experience working with adults, youth, and children. We run everything from climbing clubs and via ferrata courses to school trips and Team Building, as well as one-on-one climbing lessons on rocks, mountains or indoor climbing walls. ATTENTION:

• Insurance is not included in the voucher price.
• In the event of an accident on the ZVONIČKA - NOVÁ BAŇA Via Ferrata, the fire brigade will respond rather than the mountain rescue service; therefore, mountain insurance is not recommended by the ZVONIČKA Via Ferrata operator. Ultimately, it is up to the course participant to decide whether to arrange travel insurance for a potential mountain rescue intervention (typical premium approx. 1 – 4 € / day / person).
