What does the biathlon course offer?

The biathlon course brings our most successful winter sport closer to the general public. Thanks to roller skis, a laser rifle, and experienced instructors, the reasons why only a narrow circle of people do this sport are disappearing. No snow, firearms license, or cross-country skiing experience is required. Biathlon is now for everyone.

What will you learn on the course?

  • basics of running technique, equipment, the difference between classic and skating technique
  • basic running stance on roller skis, skiing downhill, avoiding obstacles, and braking safely
  • how to handle a laser rifle, shooting in prone and standing positions, and breathing correctly while shooting

You will be supervised by real professionals and Olympians:

Martin Otčenáš - 4x world champion in summer biathlon, Slovak Republic representative in biathlon and cross-country skiing, 3x Olympian

Dušan Šimočko - world champion in summer biathlon, long-time Slovak Republic representative in biathlon, Olympian, founder of Biathlon Mania

Štefan Oravec - Slovak Republic champion, participant in junior world championships and under-23 world championships, member of the Slovak Ski Association, accredited cross-country skiing coach.
