A local guide will lead your steps beyond the gates of TTTM Sapa (Trung Tâm Thương Mại Sapa, meaning Sapa Trade Centre), on the outskirts of Prague. The entire Sapa area (25,000 square metres) is one large city within a city – not just a Vietnamese market, but also a school, kindergarten, banks, insurance companies, restaurants, bistros, a bookstore, cultural halls, the editorial office of Vietnamese periodicals, and even a Buddhist temple. Vietnamese rules and laws apply here, overseen by the local police. The omnipresent spirit of Vietnam will captivate you. Sapa is an excellent place for shopping for various types of goods. You will mostly find wholesale stores with very reasonable prices, but you might also come across "piece goods" such as clothing, toys, furniture, toiletries, or electronics. It is most famous for its food market – exotic produce, familiar and unfamiliar dishes... Everyone will truly find something for themselves!

An experiential excursion into the Vietnamese world is designed for everyone who wants to personally get to know the way of life of Vietnamese people living in the Czech Republic. Recommended for everyone who wants to get to know Vietnamese people, their original culture, religion, and especially their gastronomy during one excursion. You will be guided through Sapa by a guide who is either a native Vietnamese or a student of Vietnamese studies.

Sapa trip with lunch: A three-hour excursion includes:

• services of an experienced guide,
• information about the area of the Sapa shopping centre (history of its origin and development, general information about Vietnamese people),
• a visit to the Buddhist temple (a lecture on the religion and beliefs of Vietnamese people),
• a visit to food shops and other halls (presentation of ingredients),
• recommendations for the best restaurants in the area (introduction to the best Vietnamese dishes),
• lunch / early dinner with a talk about dining etiquette (traditional shared six-course meal, or a special portion for vegans),
• tasting of Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese snacks.

This is a group event, where you will be joined by other interested participants.

TIP: Recommended for those who want to get to know not only Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic during one excursion, but also their original culture, religion, and especially gastronomy.

Thanks to your expertise, you will gain an overview of the history, culture, and intricacies of the Vietnamese community. Information regarding the Sapa business and cultural center area and the history of the Vietnamese community in the country.
• Information about the Sapa shopping center area (history of its creation and development, general info about Vietnamese people)
• a visit to the Buddhist temple (a lecture on the religion and beliefs of Vietnamese people)
• Visit to food stores and other halls (presentation of ingredients)
• Recommendation of the best restaurants in the area (presentation of the best Vietnamese dishes)
• lunch or early dinner (traditional six-course shared meal or one main dish per person as recommended)

	Sezóna/Počasie	Runs all year round. Not dependent on the weather.
	Podmienky	Minimum participant age is 10 years. Time allocated for realization is 3.5 hours. Order at least 7 days in advance, takes place on weekends. ATTENTION: If you suffer from food intolerance or allergies, do not forget to inform the organizers when booking the date.
	Cancellation policy	Cancellation fees are charged in case of cancellation 4 days or less before realization and in case of no-show 100%. Sapa does not have barrier-free access.
