Chocolate Tasting - What Will You Experience?

We invite you to a unique chocolate presentation led by chocolatier Samim Elciler. A Frenchman living in Slovakia has been passionate about chocolate for more than 15 years. Since 2010, it has been importing high-quality artisanal chocolates directly from France and other countriesto Slovakia. It organizes presentations, thematic tastings (traditional and non-traditional), training, workshops and teambuilding for companies, schools or private groups. Its goal is to provide an authentic chocolate experiencethat will teach you how to taste chocolate like a professional and discover its fascinating world.

Chocolate tasting - how does it work?

To start with, you will be greeted by an engaging 45 to 60 minute presentationin which you will learn a little about the history of chocolate – from the time of the Mayans to the present day. We will then examine the entire chocolate production process: from growing cocoa beans, through their harvesting and processing, to creating the finished chocolate bar. In today's consumerist era, there are a huge number of chocolate products – but how do you recognize truly high-quality chocolate? What to look for when reading its composition? During the presentation, we will share practical tips, how to distinguish quality chocolate from regular chocolates in the store, and we will also surprisingly reveal its health benefits. We will learn how to perfectly pair chocolate with wineto highlight its flavor nuances. And finally, we will focus on the most important factor – the origin of the cocoa beans. Country, climate, variety and so-called terroir significantly influence the resulting taste of chocolate.

Chocolate tasting - what does it contain?

The tasting includes original chocolates from around the world - including different types of cocoa beans, 100% chocolate, and bars with exotic origins and a unique flavor profile. During a guided tasting, we will discover why chocolate from Peru tastes different from chocolate from Madagascar, and what makes each chocolate unique.

• Tasting package of 5 chocolates – 3 can be taken home or opened during the tasting, the rest are for tasting together
• Tasting package of 10 chocolates – 7 pieces for you (to take at home or during the tasting), the rest is for tasting together

Each chocolate is carefully selected so that you can experience a variety of flavours, origins and production techniques. Taste surprises, producer stories, and a new perspective on what's hidden in an ordinary tablet await you.
