What does a Formula 1 drive offer?

The opportunity to drive a single-seater was until now the privilege of a few individuals. Now you can experience the adrenaline-fueled feeling of Formula 1 pilots firsthand. Perfect car handling comparable to world-class standards. Incredible acceleration and grip that defies the laws of gravity. Brakes that will want to rip you out of your seat and paddle shifters for maximum professional pilot comfort. All this is topped off by the fact that you'll be seated just a few centimeters above the ground, guaranteeing you the best and fastest drive of your life.

How does driving a formula car in Trenčín proceed?

An experience that differs from any other. You don't have to worry about any traffic slowing you down. The entire drive takes place on a 2 km long runway at the Trenčín airport.

After the initial briefing, you will be provided with a balaclava, helmet, gloves, and driving shoes. In the initial familiarization part, you will get acquainted with the formula car. Then you can enjoy your perfect drive. The more laps you complete, the more action-packed it will be. Before the drive, the driver signs a declaration of material responsibility.

Formula Masters are modern single-seaters featuring a carbon monocoque, a VW engine delivering 145 hp, and a 5-speed sequential gearbox operated by a lever.

Important information about Formula driving:

PočasieSezóna/PočasieYou can experience the formula drive from April to October. Due to high demand, especially towards the end of the season and on weekends, Our Picks suggest booking your date at least a month in advance.

PodmienkyPodmienkyTo drive a formula car, you need a valid driving licence (for those under 18, consent from a legal guardian and a valid racing licence are required), a maximum height of 195 cm, a maximum weight of 120 kg and a maximum shoe size of 46. The ride takes place on pre-determined dates. The drive cannot be canceled or changed less than 7 days before the scheduled date.

No security deposit is required at the airport.

Standard vehicle insurance (third-party and collision) does not apply at the airport; all damage caused to the vehicle is borne by the driver in full, including damage caused by incorrect use of the vehicle (e.g. engine over-revving, tyre burnout). For a fee of €50, additional insurance is available, which reduces the maximum deductible to €5,000. Personal insurance is not included in the voucher price.

Hello Pavel,

Formula driving (Dallara Formula Masters): This is an older, but still very powerful model. It has a VW engine with a power of 145 hp. Formula driving F4 (Mygale): This is a more modern technique used by drivers in the current F4 championships. The single-seater is lighter (approx. 550 kg) and has a higher maximum speed (235 km/h compared to 220 km/h for the Dallara).

Truly a BOMB experience! This is not a biker or a racing car... The control of the formula is raw, rough. It jerks, kicks, vibrates, the engine roars and my temperature in the overalls rose from it... Sequential gear shifting is a really great experience... A simple, but above all intelligently designed track at the airport in Dolny Hričov. A long straight, full throttle, full brakes before sharp turns squeeze the energy out of every ordinary driver. In the morning of 06.09.2025 it was raining and around lunchtime the track was still wet and that was an even greater adrenaline experience when the rear tires try to overtake the front ones when exiting the turns. I recommend it. I give it 10/10.
