Via ferrata is a path in challenging mountain terrain, equipped with fixed safety ropes, iron stirrups (or other artificial aids), aimed at increasing personal safety and making difficult terrain accessible to visitors who do not have much experience with demanding mountaineering ascents.

How does the Via Ferrata experience work?

At the beginning, you will learn something about theory, familiarize yourself with the components of Via ferrata equipment, and head out to the rock.

• Rental of necessary equipment (seat harness, fall arrester, helmet)
• Mountain insurance

Liptovské Revúce - ferrata Two Towers

• This location is also suitable for via ferrata courses for beginners and advanced users. Ferrata Dve veže is the youngest ferrata built in Slovakia. It was officially opened on September 14, 2019. This is not a single via ferrata, but a small via ferrata park where there are several shorter, sporty via ferratas. The via ferrata is located in front of the village of Liptovské Revúce on the right side in the Veľká Fatra National Park.
• There are a total of 9 shorter via ferratas on the Two Towers, which, according to the Schall scale, reach the highest difficulty level of C/D - medium difficulty. In total, there are 380 meters of steel ropes on the via ferrata, numerous climbs, and two rope bridges. Individual variants of via ferrata routes are marked with their name and difficulty.
• From the highest point of the Via Ferrata, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding peaks of the Low Tatras (Končitá, Malý Zvolen, Čierna Hora) and the Greater Fatra (Krížna, Frčkov), as well as the Greater Fatra and Low Tatras National Parks, separated by the Revúca River.
  

Important information about the Via ferrata experience with a mountain guide:

	Sezóna/Počasie	The Via Ferrata can be completed from 01/06/2027 - 15/09/2027. The tour takes place only in good weather during weekends or holidays. For groups of min. 6 people, there is also the possibility of a date during the week. The experience does not take place in adverse weather conditions.
	Clothing	We recommend sportswear and sturdy hiking boots.
	Podmienky	A minimum of 5 participants is required for the Via Ferrata, and individuals will be assigned to a group. Adequate physical fitness is necessary. Suitable for children from 10 years old who are talented in movement or regularly engage in sports. It is advisable to make the reservation as soon as possible before the desired date.
	Cancellation policy	Cancellation of the reservation is possible only once, at the latest 3 days before the agreed date.
