What awaits you on board the Andula?

The Antonov AN-2, known to everyone as "Andula", is an aviation legend and remains the largest biplane in the world to this day. From the very moment of take-off, you'll be engulfed by the deep roar of the radial engine and vibrations you'd never experience in a modern aircraft.

During the 15-minute flight, you'll enjoy a bird's-eye view of the former Milovice military area. Below you'll see vast tank training grounds, tanks, IFVs and other military hardware. If you're lucky, you might even spot wild horses, Przewalski's horses or bison in the local nature reserve.

Want to experience the military world on the ground too? Choose the option with a ride in a BVP-1 IFV. This Czech-made tracked behemoth tackles terrain that would stop an ordinary car in its tracks after just a few metres. Get ready for half an hour of rattling, rocking and the roar of the engine.

How does the flight with Andula work?

You have two options to choose from – the flight on its own, or a flight combined with a ride in an IFV-1.

The Antonov AN-2 flight includes:

• welcome and registration
• 15-minute Scenic Flight with flyovers of the former military area
• the whole programme lasts approx. 30 minutes

The Antonov AN-2 flight with an IFV-1 ride includes:

• welcome and registration
• 30-minute ride in an IFV-1 through the terrain of a former military area
• transfer to the second area by your own car (approx. 10 min)
• 15-minute Scenic Flight in an Antonov AN-2
• the whole programme lasts 1.5 to 2 hours

The entire programme is supervised by experienced pilots and instructors. The plane and IFV can carry a maximum of 12 people at once.

Important information about your flight with Andula:

	Sezóna/Počasie	The season runs from March to November. Flights take place only on pre-scheduled dates and under suitable flight and weather conditions.
	Clothing	Our Picks: comfortable clothing suited to the weather.
	Podmienky	The experience is suitable for children from 6 years old, accompanied by an adult and at their own responsibility. For security reasons, spectators are not permitted to enter the area. The capacity of both the aircraft and the IFV is 12 people. With the IFV option, you'll travel between the sites in your own car (approx. 10 min). It is recommended to make your reservation at least two weeks in advance. Cancellation policy: Reservations can be cancelled or rescheduled at the latest 72 hours before the experience. Later cancellations are not possible, or 100% of the experience price will be charged.
