Landkiting - What Will You Experience?

An exceptional, unique, and most importantly, fun experience - that's kiting, which you'll get a taste of in our short but intense course. You will learn how to set up a kite, how to control the kite correctly, and perhaps you will find your new hobby here. The 'Taste Kiting' course is the most accessible and fastest way to get closer to kitesurfing or snowkiting. The course takes place on land.

Kiting is one of the fastest-growing adrenaline sports in the world. The basis is a kite (a towing kite) and a kiteboarding harness. Kiting has many forms, such as landkiting (riding a tricycle, riding a landboard, a board similar to a skateboard), snowkiting (riding on snow), and kitesurfing/kiteboarding (riding on water with the help of a board similar to a surfboard).

How Does Landkiting Work?

During the course, you will complete a theoretical and, of course, a practical part, where you will practice controlling the kite with the assistance of an instructor. The difficulty of the course will be adapted to your abilities.

Theoretical Part (10-15 minutes)

  • basic information on how to work with the kite and the wind window
  • introduction to the equipment and setting up the equipment
  • introduction to safety measures

Practical Part

  • Flying with a training kite (start, restart, landing, power stroke, ...)
  • Replacing the training kite with a traction kite that you have attached to yourself (start, restart, landing, power stroke, ...)
  • Buggy riding
  • Mountainboard riding
  • Riding technique (stopping, turning, ...)

The voucher for the shooting course includes:

  • Rental of complete kiting equipment
  • Instructor services.

It was great. I definitely recommend this course with Dominik to anyone who is thinking about kiting or is interested in it, besides him, at least in the east, there is probably no one else so there is not much choice anyway 😃. He will explain, show, help, but then it is up to the person and it is about training. But it is a little harder than in the videos.
